This clock features an original painting of an ornate Hamsa in shades which simulate copper along w/the cool greens & blue of a patina.The ancient symbol of a decorative hand w/2 thumbs & same size index & fore-finger, is recognized in many non-western religions as a "Good Luck" talisman, and when pointing downward, as a symbol of fertility. In Judaism, it's sometimes referred to as the "Hand of Miriam" (after the sister of Moses).
