Hare in the Forest Hans Hoffmann Rabbit Painting Giant Coffee Mug
Nibbling on a leaf pulled from a stalk of Lady's Mantle, an alert hare sits at the edge of a pine forest. Unlike the darkness one would expect to find in a forest, Hans Hoffmann painted a theatrically illuminated scene. Each plant and insect--snail, cricket, beetle--is seen in vivid detail. The finely wrought leaves of the thistle, the sprawling fronds of a plantain, and the bright blue flowers of the Hare Bell attest to Hoffmann's meticulous treatment of the subject. In fact, none of these plants could have coexisted in the natural world. Hoffmann imaginatively combined numerous individual nature studies in a single painting.

My husband had been complaining that all my coffee mugs were too small. I bought him the jumbo mug for Christmas and he loves it. The cup is made nicely and is not too heavy. The mug came in a box about 3 times the size of it. It was wrapped in several feet of large bubble pack. Thankfully that kept it from any shipping damage. I was a little worried when the heavy clear packing tape was taped right over my image but I was able to slowly peel it away and nothing was damaged. The printing is excellent. I am thrilled to see how clear the image printed. There do not appear to be any defects in the printing. The printing is smooth and seamless on the cup. I love how it turned out.

I've always wanted a large heavy mug like this! Being able to customize with our beloved pets is wonderful bonus! Very easy, colors very close to what the monitor shows. Small learning curve.
TIP: My first set (smaller size) the lettering looked subtle on screen but only showed in brighter daylight on a darker background. ZAZZLE customer service is EXCELLENT. Have ordered several items for Christmas gifts this year! Thank You Zazzle!!!
