Yet another fantastic find from the artist’s estate, a mid-19th century print of King Henry the 8th and his ill-fated second wife Anne Boleyn. The original print was dry as a bone, and I feared it would fall apart in my scanner. But it did survive, the original colors are still SO bright, and it’s all good. Plus it looks simply maahvelous on all kinds of EVERYTHING, including mugs. Note that the scene appears on both sides of the mug, in mirror image. Wanna see more old?
