The Henschel Hs-129 Panzerknacker ("Safe-cracker"), was the Luftwaffe's ground attack aircraft. The aircraft stills the record for the most vehicles destroyed by air attack. The sides were sloped to allow shells to bounce off it and the cockpit was heavily armored. Utilizing the Mk.101, Mk.103, or the Bk 37 mm. cannons it was capable of destroying most allied tanks.
