Himalayan Buzzard, dark/rufous morph, young adult T-Shirt

Himalayan Buzzard ((Buteo buteo burmanicus), also considered by some ornithologists as (Buteo refectus). The beauty of this bird is evident, in the graceful array of tonal brown plumage, highlighted with warm earth tones in rufous and reddish-brown. As this bird ages, the coloring will change to darker brown shades. Like so many other Buzzard species, over eons of time, Himalayan Buzzards developed 3 morphological, chromatic variants with a distinct spectrum to their feathers: Earth tones in a dark, intermediate or light/pale array. This bird is found in South-Central Asia, content to live in the high altitude planes, lower foothills and along the relatively lower levels of the Himalaya Mountain Range. Their homelands are found in the People's Republic of China, the Tibet Autonomous Region, the Kingdom of Bhutan, the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, the Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
