HMS Queen Battleship 1839 Ceramic Tile
Charles Edward Dixon HMS Queen 1st rate ship of the line Battleship 1839
Queen Battleship was 3083 tons with 32-pounder sets of heavy-caliber pieces of artillery mounted and most powerful armament on a warship. The British version fired a 14.4 kilogram projectile at about 487 meters per second, for a muzzle energy of over 1.7 million joules. Such a powerful gun with a large weight of shot posed serious damage to enemy ships. The HMS Queen was a 110-gun ship launched on May 15, 1839 at Portsmouth. It was the last battleship to be ordered as a purely sailing ship. Subsequent ships were ordered with both sails and steam engines. All British battleships were constructed with sails until the 1870s.

Ceramic Tile, 4.25" x 4.25"
From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
