It’s where you can watch the Mayor’s Cup Regatta on the Navesink River, walk through authentic colonial or Victorian houses, build a sandcastle in the annual contest or marvel at the sky filled with color at the Hot Air Balloon Festival. Avalon, Belmar, Red Bank, Keansburg, Cape May or Asbury Park are little more than zip codes because when you live here, the Shore is your hometown.
