Pick sheets if you’re wrapping 1 to 3 gifts, if your design is centered around one name or photograph, or if you want to see how your design looks without committing to a full roll. Sheets provide neater wrapping with consistent sizes, are more suited to DIY and craft projects, and don’t require any cutting. Pick a roll if you’re wrapping 4 or more gifts, if your gifts vary in size, or if you’re wrapping something bulky or irregularly shaped. They’re much more economical when there’s lots of wrapping to do and are easily customizable in terms of length.

That depends on the size of your gift. One printed roll measures a minimum of 6 ft and a maximum of 15 ft, and sheets are measured at 19 x 29 inches. A 6 ft roll can wrap approximately 3 t-shirt-sized boxes, which are roughly 11 x 8 x 2 inches, using 3 cut sheets of about 15 x 20 inches. Wrapping paper sheets individually measure 19 x 29 inches, so you could also wrap 3 t-shirt-sized boxes comfortably. Rolls are more suitable for smaller and larger gifts, as there’s more flexibility with length, whereas sheets will suit a medium-sized gift such as a shoebox or a board game box.

Our Matte wrapping paper rolls are printed on 60 lb (~89 GSM) text-weight paper and 64 lb (~95 GSM) for Glossy. Our wrapping paper sheets are 70 lb (~104 GSM) for Matte, and 80 lb (~108 GSM) for Semi-Gloss. Here, ‘lb’ refers to pounds of paper weight, calculated by weighing 500 sheets (1 ream) of the paper’s standard size, and ‘GSM’ refers to grams per square meter. A higher lb or GSM means heavier and thicker paper. Our rolls consist of light to medium weight wrapping paper with good tear resistance, whereas our sheets are medium to heavier weight with greater durability. The Glossy and Semi-Gloss papers can also behave differently: a coating can make paper feel smoother and more resistant to tearing. Tape will stick to all of the wrapping paper types, but as there’s an extra layer of coating for Glossy and Semi-Gloss, we recommend a high-tack tape.

The design area for wrapping paper rolls is 36 inches across and 30 inches down. This is automatically scaled down to 34.8 inches across and 29 inches down to ensure uniformity, which is the size of a tile area on the roll. Any design within this tile area will be repeated after 36 inches. Tiling allows a smaller design file to repeat seamlessly along the paper; it keeps the final print consistent and is efficient for repeating patterns. The sheets, on the other hand, have a design area of 19.5 inches by 28.5 inches, and the design will take up the entirety of the sheet.

We recommend you upload a photograph directly from your camera roll or cloud storage, as images taken from social media have reduced quality due to image compression, which will affect the print. Colors can appear slightly softer than the original image in person, as photographs on computer screens emit light, whereas printed ink reflects light.

Sheets come with a grid and our logo printed on the reverse side to assist with cutting and folding. Our rolls come with a blank back. Once the gift is wrapped, the reverse side will face inward so any grid lines or logos on the sheets won’t be visible.
