Honganji Temple Vista of Mt. Fuji Japanese Woodcut Silver Finish Lapel Pin

Honganji Temple Vista of Mt. Fuji Japanese Woodcut Silver Finish Lapel Pin

In the heart of Edo, the bustling capital of Japan, stands the majestic Honganji Temple, a beacon of tranquility amidst the city's vibrant energy. This grand temple, with its towering pagodas and serene gardens, is a place of spiritual refuge for the people of Edo. - One day, as the sun began its descent, casting long shadows across the temple grounds, a young artist named Hokusai ventured into the temple's courtyard. He was drawn to the temple's beauty and the peaceful atmosphere that permeated the air. As he wandered through the courtyard, he noticed a small opening in the temple wall, through which he could see a glimpse of Mount Fuji, the sacred mountain of Japan. - Hokusai was captivated by the sight of Mount Fuji, its snow-capped peak glistening in the fading light. He knew he had to capture this breathtaking scene on canvas. He quickly set up his easel and began to paint, his brushstrokes swift and sure. - As he painted, Hokusai felt a sense of peace and tranquility wash over him. The beauty of Mount Fuji and the serenity of the temple grounds seemed to soothe his soul. He poured his heart and soul into his painting, capturing the essence of the scene before him. - When he finally finished his painting, Hokusai stepped back to admire his work. He was pleased with what he saw. He had captured the beauty of Mount Fuji and the tranquility of the temple grounds perfectly. - Hokusai's painting of Mount Fuji from the Honganji Temple became one of his most famous works. It is a testament to his skill as an artist and his ability to capture the beauty of the natural world. - Honganji Temple in Asakusa of the Eastern Capital Edo is a view of Mount Fuji from the Tsukiji Hongan-ji temple in Tokyo. - Painting in the Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji a series of landscape prints by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai 1760 to 1849 in Public Domain.

To do again, I would order the JEB Stuart in the small round style. That is just my personal preference. Also, I like the Forrest pin with the Confederate National Flag background since he fought in the army of Tennessee. However, I would prefer the Confederate Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia as the backdrop for the Stuart lapel pin ... as you well know, Stuart commanded the cavalry arm of the Army of Northern Virginia and fought under the Southern Cross or Cross of Saint Andrew. Karl Brauneis, Lander, Wyoming. Excellent - very clear and bold. +
