Ho'opponent Postcard

This was one of the earliest experiments in the digital world. I wanted to do something related to Ho'opponent, but I also wanted to experiment with botanical art, which I always thought was very beautiful but which I had never stopped to practice. Ho’opponent is a Hawaiian philosophy and technique that has the purpose of promoting forgiveness, love and gratitude. Often our mind and heart are terribly polluted with sorrow, distress and regret. We often spend hours, days, weeks, months removing some pain or some memory. Both for ourselves and for the other person. "I'm sorry" expresses the recognition of some mistake. The recognition that we may have hurt someone. Or the recognition that we let something hurt or affect us. Or the recognition that we've allowed ourselves into a loop of remorse, grief or some other harmful energy. "Forgive me" is the act of asking for forgiveness from someone we may have hurt, or asking for forgiveness from ourselves for allowing something to hurt us. He is also the liberator of forgiving. "Love you" expresses one of the most powerful energies: love. It's your love statement. Loving friends is easy. But you can't stop there. Our master Jesus taught us to love even our enemies. I love the next one like you. When you're chanting this mantra to yourself, this sentence expresses your love for itself. Do you love each other? Declare your own love right now. This sentence is the transmutation of any bad energy into love. "Thank you" expresses another great energy that governs the universe. The gratitude. Here, thank you for your forgiveness, thank you for your love, thank you for your release. Thank you for your lesson. Thank you for your life.
