About René Primevère Lesson
René Primevère Lesson (1799-1849) was a leading French naturalist and explorer. From 1822 to 1825 Lesson participated in the round-the-world voyage of the french corvette the Coquille acting as the ship's doctor. The voyage of exploration visited many regions in South America and the Pacific. On his return, Lesson published books on many aspects of natural history, but he remains particularly famous for his work on hummingbirds. Several species were named by him or after him. Primevere later taught botany at the naval medical school in Rochefort, 1829–31 and was appointed the top-ranking Navy pharmacist in France in 1835. The Natural History of Hummingbirds was one of the first major works on the lives of these fascinating tiny birds.

I found this fairly easy to edit and have printed. It turned out nicely and made a good way to set the theme for the party. . It was a lovely invitation. I was able to add a photo on the back.

This invite was perfect for my daughter's bridal shower - it had a little bit of everything that she loves: purple, the string lights, just a bit of greenery and it wasn't too fancy. The back of it is super cute too because the string lights go along the back of the card. We received them very quickly - no issues with the invite at all. My only feedback is that it could be just slightly larger in size and there is just a hint of white paper stock along the edge on back of the invite - not a big deal for the price and simplicity of creating/receiving so quickly. Invite looked just as it was pictured online
