Bartholomew Ferracina, watchmaker and engineer of the Serenissima, best known for the construction of the clock in Piazza San Marco in Venice, and also the author of the reconstruction of the Palladian bridge of Bassano del Grappa, provided for the rebuilding of the imposing structure. Transferred to the courts in 1797, the exhibition was opened to great popular gatherings, anniversaries and parties.
