Hurl the Miserable Sycophant: Senator Harry Reid T-Shirt

This is part of a series on Miserable Sycophants. On each shirt is one of my favorite entrenched collusionist LDS Senators, Orrin Hatch, Bob Bennett, and Harry Reid. Gun registry, the Dream Act, the Give Act, the Bailouts ..... so many intrusive federal programs, so many taxes to pay for it all! Dang, I just love these guys! On the front of this series of shirts is some advice on politicians offered by Joseph Smith, Jr.: "LET THE PEOPLE OF THE WHOLE UNION. LIKE THE INFLEXIBLE ROMANS, WHENEVER THEY FIND A PROMISE MADE BY A CANDIDATE THAT IS NOT PRACTICED AS AN OFFICER, HURL THE MISERABLE SYCOPHANT FROM HIS EXALTATION, AS GOD DID NEBUCHADNEZZAR, TO CROP THE GRASS OF THE FIELD WITH A BEAST'S HEART AMONG THE CATTLE." I like that, especially the hurling miserable sycophants part. Squaw Peak comes to mind..... Now in case you've missed it, this shirt has Brigham Young pronouncing damnation on the flip side! The antique cartouche, slightly reworked, not only has a stuffed elephant trophy head, it's got bipartisan huntsmen and hounds bringing down some donkeys, with extreme prejudice. Those madcap Gadianton Congressmen are each labeled with a "Secret Combos" mark on their foreheads. It's the Last Days, after all. On this shirt is Senator Harry Reid of Nevada. The back of this shirt contains some serious wisdom. From President Ezra Taft Benson: "FORTUNATELY THE PROPHET JOSEPH SMITH SAW THE PART THE ELDERS OF ISRAEL WOULD PLAY IN THIS CRISES. WILL THERE BE SOME OF US WHO WON'T CARE ABOUT SAVING THE CONSTITUTION, OTHER WHO WILL BE BLINDED BY THE CRAFTINESS OF MEN, AND SOME WHO WILL BE KNOWINGLY BE WORKING TO DESTROY IT?" Who's destroying the Constitution? Huh? What? Craftiness of men, what men? Next, from J. Reuben Clark, Jr.: "THE RAVENING WOLVES ARE AMONGST US, FROM OUR OWN MEMBERSHIP, AND THEY, MORE THAN ANY OTHERS ARE CLOTHED IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING BECAUSE THEY WEAR THE HABILMENTS OF THE PRIESTHOOD.....WE SHOULD BE CAREFUL OF THEM" And finally, from Brigham Young: "I LOVE THE GOVERNMENT AND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, BUT I DO NOT LOVE THE DAMNED RASCALS WHO ADMINISTER THE GOVERNMENT." "IS THE FORM OF THE GOVERNMENT RUINED? HAS ITS FORM BECOME EVIL? NO, BUT THE ADMINISTRATORS OF THE GOVERNMENT ARE EVIL. AS WE HAVE SAID MANY TIMES, IT IS THE BEST FORM OF HUMAN GOVERNMENT MAN EVER LIVED UNDER, BUT IT HAS AS CORRUPT A SET TO ADMINISTER IT AS GOD EVER PERMITTED TO DISGRACE HIS FOOTSTOOL." Sounds like it's time to turn someone out to pasture.......with Nebuchadnezzar! I think there's still some land here in Utah with grazing permits available. Knock yourself out, Senators! The ones with the purple flowers are really tasty!
