I AM THE STORM POSTCARD

Strength, Faith, Conviction .... I have had this quote in the files for quite a while and came across it recently .... at a time it has more meaning to me than when I first stored it. After a severe spine injury and the death of my parents - the death of my beautiful world as I knew it, it has quite a lot of meaning to me. Friends offered advice in the beginning I did not heed thinking I needed to get houses in order and then, take care of myself. My thoughts were to honor my parents and do what I thought they would feel were my responsibilities when had I done otherwise, life would be comfortable with the exception of a very risky spine surgery looming .... and even that, had I had it when instructed to do it immediately at only a few choice hospitals in America, I would have had quality of life the past 7 years, ... but I didn't because my Mother was dying, and I would not leave her in anyone's care for months other than mine. So now, here I am with more to the story than I need to share, and I AM going to survive on DETERMINATION, CONVICTION, MY RELIGIOUS FAITH ....and a bit of the STUBBORN IN ME. I've lost too much, but I CAN SURVIVE (God willing with that surgery also) .... and YOU CAN TOO! BE THE STORM!
