The quality of this shirt is heavy and durable, not one of the thinner fabrics often sold now. I ordered a 2XL for my husband and compared to all of his other 2x shirts (he hasn't received this as a gift yet), this one is bigger by about 2 inches each on the side, in the sleeves, and on the bottom hem. So I would say it definitely runs big but I haven't had a chance to wash/shrink it. I'm just hoping it won't look like he's swimming in it! The printing was clear and bold, this aspect of the shirt definitely met my expectations!
