We Are All Connected

At Zazzle, we’re an extended community of Customers, Creators, Makers, Brand Partners and Employees, all coming together through products, designs and tools to express our creativity. COVID-19 has reminded us that even in uncertain times, we are a community of many different people who come together to create, inspire and learn.

The events of the past weeks and days have reminded us even more so that we all need to stay connected. Just like all of you, we here at Zazzle have had a lot to adapt to. Those of us that live in the San Francisco Bay area are all working remotely from our homes. Schools have been canceled, so those of us with kids are trying to juggle our work while keeping our young ones productive and happy. It’s a crazy time, but we’re making it work!

In the spirit of keeping us all connected, we want you to know we’re working to ensure that our teammates and their loved ones are safe and sound during these times. We’re doing our best to keep our operations, supply chains and manufacturing humming along. We’re safeguarding all our products and facilities by following the most updated guidelines. Even though we are navigating through uncharted territories at the moment, please know that Zazzle has built a company and a culture based on being nimble and tenacious, and we’ll continue to carry those attributes going forward.

As you’re probably well aware, invitations and announcements have always been a big part of our business and it should be no surprise that during these turbulent times, people are less likely to order them because they are uncertain about what the future holds. We’ve started a new program that we hope will take some of the worry out of planning for those future events. It’s called ‘Buy Now, Change Later,’ and it allows our customers to reprint their invites and announcements, or receive an account credit if an event or celebration changes.

Zazzle Community Stories

We also want to share stories and updates from our extended community to highlight the resiliency, connectivity and creativity that drives the amazing Zazzle ecosystem.

Jenn McNulty, our Director of Zazzle Customer Care, wants you to know the following: “We’ve been busy helping our customer care team get set up to work remotely from their homes. Many of us have families (I have two girls of my own), so customers might hear a little bit of background noise, but they can rest assured that we’re here for them!”

Kristen Juckiewicz, the Creator behind the Zazzle store, Redwood & Vine, shared with us that she’s so grateful to have been designing full-time for Zazzle since 2015.  She wrote, “The best part is that it’s given me tremendous flexibility in raising my 5-year-old son. I’m no stranger to the work-from-home life! While this is a difficult season, one thing that won’t change is that life is still full of moments to cherish. And the Creator community will be busy creating beautiful products to help you celebrate your many wonderful moments to come.”

One of our Makers, Jenny, the Director of Sales at Pro Gift Source, emailed us and said, “In our facility, we are exercising strict cleanliness protocols for all employees. Our priority is to keep them safe and healthy. This includes health screening, hand washing stations, extra sanitizer, gloves and more. We remain committed to fulfilling customers’ orders as professionally as ever, and we all hope for a speedy and effective cure for this virus.”

Zane Wilemon,  a Zazzle Maker and Episcopal Priest said this of the Zazzle partnership with UBUNTU Life, “There’s no better example of how we’re all connected than our partnership with Zazzle Heart!  We’re continuing to make many hundreds of custom Afridrilles per month. By buying these shoes you’re supporting an entire community of Kenyan mothers with special needs children.”

Just like many of you, we’re transitioning to working remotely, homeschooling our kids and spending quite a bit of time in our homes, while trying not to go stir crazy.  We wrote some articles for Zazzle Ideas that may give you inspiration or thoughts on making your own situations more workable.

We’d love to see how you are staying connected, and how we can continue to support you during these times. Send us your positive stories and ask us any questions you might have by leaving comments below, contacting us at stayconnected@zazzle.com or on Instagram @Zazzle.
