We’re electing to share this image and message with our community because we have not featured Juneteenth in a prominent manner on our site in the past.
That changes today.
Zazzle’s intention during this time in our history has been to act with integrity around where we have been and where we are going – including acknowledging that we have more to do. Today, June 19th, 2020, our acknowledgement and heralding of Juneteenth is a small step; for authentic allyship, we are committed to having this be a regular part of our calendaring and offering in years to come.
As an open user-generated platform around creativity and content, our external messages are communicated through the designs we feature, the occasions we celebrate and the tools and products we provide through our marketplace. Our message today and going forward is one of continued acknowledgment and celebration of Black American history and culture.
Celebrating and acknowledging Juneteenth from this moment onwards is part of that way forward.
