Congratulations on your engagement! Now begins the fun (and crazy!) task of planning your wedding. It can be tough to go from dreamy inspiration boards with hundreds of floral arrangements and centerpiece ideas to your actual big day, so we’ve compiled a few of our favorite Instagram accounts for you to scroll through and hopefully use to help plan your wedding day!
- @theknot – There’s a reason the Knot is followed by engaged couples and singles alike. With a collection of expert testimonies, celebrity re-grams, funny (but oh-so-true) wedding jokes and double-click worthy ring shots, there’s truly something for everyone here. Look to this account for a dose of light-hearted wedding posts, but click on over to their website for more detailed or specific articles.
- @stylemepretty – You can hardly mention weddings without Style Me Pretty coming up in the same sentence. This feed follows a classic, feminine and elegant motif, so if you’ve ever put those search terms into Pinterest or Google, run don’t walk to follow this account!
- @greenweddingshoes – Also a popular wedding blog, Green Wedding Shoes is a great resource for all things weddings! Editor, Creative Director and Co-founder (along with her husband, Jason) Jen Campbell offers a beautifully curated feed of non-traditional and one-of-a-kind ideas that you won’t find anywhere else. They’ve even collaborated with brands like Show Me Your Mumu and Mejuri to bring the unique style to your bridesmaid dresses, jewelry and more.
- @100_layercake – Extending to more than just wedding inspiration, 100 Layer Cake features decor and venue suggestions that are truly lust-worthy. Their saved stories with content ranging from vendors to cake and florals are perfect for referring back to, and are helpful for your post-wedding celebrations too!
- @weddingchicks – Wedding Chicks is an amazing resource for all things wedding! With a variety of ideas and inspiration from casual to black tie, brides with any style in mind can find something here. Oh, and the celebrity memes don’t hurt either.
- @disneyweddings – For the bride planning a wedding where she can be a real life princess, this account is for you! With posts ranging from Disneyland proposals to dreamy carriage rides, you won’t be able to get enough of this one. To really bring this fairytale to life, check out our officially licensed (and officially magical!) Disney wedding collection.
- @martha_weddings – Is it possible to go wrong with Martha Stewart? Nope! Check out her wedding platform for favor ideas, floral arrangements, multicultural weddings, great quotes and even some puppy pics too! This might not be the best place to go if you’re looking for something specific, but the array of uncommon ideas are off the charts.
- @purewowweddings – PureWow is already an authority on many topics, but you might not know they have also delved into weddings! Their curated feed is supported by several saved stories of FAQ topics, including budget, honeymoons, dresses and beauty. Don’t forget to check out the “Ask Jennifer” story! Jennifer has been a leading wedding and event planner for over 20 years and frequently answers questions asked by their Instagram followers.
- @brides – Operating primarily as a magazine, the Instagram channel of this media outlet is true to its editorial backbone. You’ll find beautifully photographed nuptials, intermixed with throwbacks and some shots of your favorite celebrity couples. Think of this as the virtual version of flipping through the magazine!
- @zazzle – Last but not least, don’t forget to follow the Zazzle account for customized invitations, decor items and more! Sharing is caring, so don’t forget to tag your own wedding posts with #ZazzleMade for a chance to be featured.
With so many beautiful feeds and accounts at your disposal when planning a wedding, it can be a challenge to find your favorites! Try finding a few accounts that you like the best and focus on those for inspiration in planning your big day, and you’re guaranteed to have an ever-changing thread of fresh, unique and striking wedding content.
Erika focuses on email marketing, copywriting and merchandising at Zazzle, but she has a secret obsession with all things wedding! During the week you can find her writing punny subject lines while also pinning the latest wedding trends, and outside of the 9-5, she is usually cheering on the San Jose Sharks, reading a good murder mystery, or hunting for the best Philly Cheesesteak in the Bay Area.
