The Pros and Cons of a Spring Wedding

Moderate Weather Means More Outfit Choices

Depending on the gown or outfit you want to wear on the big day, other seasons might restrict your choices. On the other hand, spring is usually a more moderate time of year for weather, so you could go with almost any gown length, weight or fabric and still be reasonably comfortable.

It’s a Less Busy Time of Year

Although Easter falls during springtime, there aren’t many major holidays that would restrict your guests from being able to attend your wedding. On the same note, you can give yourself a few extra weeks to send out invitations while still expecting a lot of “yes” responses if you choose to get married in the spring.

The Cons

Prices Can Creep Up Quick

Many couples choose to have their wedding in spring because it has a good chance of being warm, but it’s not as expensive or busy as the summer.
