Illustration from Child's Antique Primer Postcard
A rare and lovely illustration from the 1888 childrens' primer called "The Treasure Box". The illustration is an etching of a young boy and girl walking together, and is characteristic of the old fashioned art in these beautiful little gems of books. Childrens' primers were used at school and at home, and were often beautifully illustrated. See many more like this in our shop.
