In The Clouds Cards

Whenever you hear anyone say, “He has his head in the clouds…” you immediately think of someone who isn’t quite focused or is constantly distracted. On one of my high school report cards, the history instructor wrote, “Dennis is frequently unable to concentrate on the task at hand, and often has his head in the clouds”. Over the years I’ve learned, having “your head in the clouds” isn’t such a negative thing! And fortunately, I’ve often been associated with others who encouraged me to dream… There’s the well known interpretation of having your head in the clouds. To escape into your fantasy world, dreaming big dreams. Some would consider you to be out of touch with reality as you fantasize and toss around ideas that others may seem impractical. I was always physically present during my auto-mechanics classes but my mind and thoughts were wandering on what I would DO with this education once I graduated. That’s true of many of my endeavors: the garage, insurance office, racing, flying, scuba diving and so on… I have been fortunate. Although I may have implemented some of the most “off-the-wall” and even creative methods to accomplish a “dream” I DID manage to get there eventually in many of my endeavors. And so with THAT particular version, having “your head in the clouds” isn’t always bad thing. Allow your mind to wander, THEN hone in on a few of those dreams… Thanks for listening…
