In the Murder's Head Clock
Dear readers:in https://amzn.to/3OX6WwQ In "The Psychology of Evil: Insights into the world of perpetrators" we embark on an in-depth exploration of the complex and often disturbing psyche of criminals. This book is not only a compelling piece about the dark motives behind cruel acts, but also a comprehensive analysis of the complex interactions between psychology and crime. The lens of psychological theories and practical case studies highlights the thoughts, emotions and social circumstances that lead to crime. The author takes the reader on a journey into the abyss of the human soul, where we address the question of what causes a person to harm or even kill others. It looks at different types of crime - from impulsive violence to carefully planned killings - and at what psychological mechanisms and circumstances encourage these acts. A central element of the book is the study of the psychodynamic processes that characterize the behavior of perpetrators. In this context, concepts such as lack of empathy, narcissism, trauma and social isolation are analyzed in detail. In addition, the effects of education, family structures and social influences on the development of criminal tendencies are discussed. Readers are confronted not only with the psychological profiles of perpetrators, but also with the moral and ethical questions that arise from these analyzes. What is the difference between a crime of despair and a crime of cold calculation? How do our own experiences and beliefs shape our view of evil? These and many other questions foster a deeper debate on the subject and stimulate reflection on the complex nature of human behavior. Whether you are interested in criminology, psychology or simply in the dark sides of human behavior, "The psychology of evil" offers valuable perspectives and insights that go far beyond the mere analysis of crime. It is a book that not only conveys knowledge, but also encourages readers to question their own beliefs and prejudices and to develop a deeper understanding of the abysses of the human soul. "In the mind of the murderer: psychological insights into crime" examines the complex psychological mechanisms behind criminal behavior. Important aspects are: 1. **Motivation**: What drives people to crime? mental illness, social conditions or emotional problems? 2. **Personality Types**: Different types of offenders - impulsive, planning, psychopathic - have different characteristics. 3. **The influence of childhood**: Early experiences and the social environment play a crucial role in the development of criminal behavior. 4. **Justification**: Many perpetrators rationalize their behavior, which gives insights into their way of thinking. 5. **Psychopathology**: Psychological disorders such as anti-social personality disorder can be relevant, but not every mentally ill person becomes a perpetrator. 6. **Cognitive dissonance**: Fighters often struggle with the discrepancy between their actions and their self-image. 7. **Rehabilitation**: A better understanding of psychological aspects can help to develop prevention and rehabilitation strategies. These topics provide valuable insights into criminology, forensics and psychology and are relevant to society: https://amzn.to/3OX6WwQ https://www.amazon.com/author/gabrielagroupcyberofcriminal motivation, mental illness, social circumstances, emotional problems, personality types, impulsive, planning, psychopathic, influence of childhood, early experiences, social environment, justification, perpetrators, rationalization, psychopathology, anti-social personality disorder, cognitive dissonance self-image, rehabilitation, preventive strategies, rehabilitation strategies, criminology, forensics, psychology, social significance.

I received this as a birthday gift from my husband to replace a clock that had broken. It was perfect, pictures of my sweet family to see at every hour of the day. The size of the pictures looks nice for the size of the clock and I love looking at it! The only downside is there is no cover for the battery on the back, which makes me nervous having little kids running around the house, but an easy fix with some tape. The printing turned out clear, considering they were all cell phone pictures. Some of them look slightly grainy upon getting close up. But so nice overall!
