Inkwellness™, LLC was created to capture the essence of the long-time tradition of healthy and spiritually enriching lifestyles on Martha’s Vineyard Island. The mission is best represented by the ever- inspiring tranquil mindset and wellness practices of a group of African-American health-conscious vacationers. The tradition started in the mid-forties when vacationers swam in the waters between the Island Queen dock and the Steamship Authority and now between two imposing jetties on town beach, lovingly branded in the late fifties as the “Inkwell”. The “Inkwell” is now found on the Vineyard Sound where State Road meets Tuckernuck Ave in Oak Bluffs. The line of Inkwellness™ products are developed under the same philosophy of this great Vineyard ritual; wholesomeness, serenity, spiritual uplift, fellowship and stuff that just makes you feel good.
