Irises was painted in 1889 while Vincent van Gogh was living at the asylum at Saint Paul-de-Mausole in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France, in the last year before his death in 1890. A stunning display of violet irises with vibrant green leaves, rich terracotta soil, against a back drop of bright orange marigolds and one single white iris. Fabric is very nice and of good quality. I like that there are many colors to choose from and you can have a different color on the back side if you choose.The pillow was to be 16" x 16" but ran a bit small. (14.5") Still happy just recommend you get a larger size . Design came out great. Colors were vivid and the overall quality is quite nice. Will definately order again. Highly recommend because it not only shipped super fast but overall I love the results!
