Irish Regiment Canada T-Shirt
The Irish Regiment of Canada. The Irish regiment was founded in 1915 with headquarters at Toronto. The modern Irish regiment was formed in Sudbury in 1965 from the conversion of the 58th Field Regiment RCA. In 1931 they became the only kilted Irish Regiment in the world with the pride of their own unique tartan often called the "O'Saffron" designed by one Thomas Gordon Ltd. of Glasgow. (Irish regiments in the British Army utilize kilted pipers) They also share the famous caubeen headdress common to the other Irish regiments.

The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
