Islay, Tilco, a Macaw and Love Birds by Landseer T-Shirt
Islay, Tilco, a Macaw and Two Love Birds (1839) by Sir Edwin Henry Landseer is a vintage Victorian Era fine art animal portrait painting. The animals featured are pets owned by the British Royal family. This painting was commissioned by Queen Victoria who loved Islay (a terrier puppy dog) very much; she taught him to beg which he became famous for as seen in this Landseer painting.
About the artist:
Sir Edwin Henry Landseer (1802-1873) was an English painter well known for his paintings of animals. Landseer's popularity in Victorian Britain was considerable. He was widely regarded as one of the foremost animal painters of his time, and reproductions of his works were commonly found in middle-class homes. Yet his appeal crossed class boundaries, for Landseer was quite popular with the British aristocracy as well.

I figured since I got the cheapest of the shirt that it wouldn't hold up to the environment I was going to be in when wearing it. The shirt was soft and the fabric not too thin or too thick and more durable then I would have expected. The colors were good...I would have thought that they would have been a little more vibrant...the colors probably had more to do with the colors of the design then anything but over all I kind of thought it was cool that the printing on the shirt was basically "inked" into the fabric instead of the usage of fabric paint which usually can get warped and crinkled.
