Italian Art Nerius Illumination Scenes of Easter Gold Finish Lapel Pin
Wear the Easter story in miniature on this colorful and detailed lapel pin, which displays a vintage painting by the Italian artist, Nerius. The work was created around 1320 and depicts two scenes from the Easter story. At the top, the holy women approach Jesus' tomb but find it empty. Below this in the second scene, the women meet the resurrected Jesus as they leave. Image: Manuscript Illumination with Scenes of Easter in an Initial A, from an Antiphonary. To do again, I would order the JEB Stuart in the small round style. That is just my personal preference. Also, I like the Forrest pin with the Confederate National Flag background since he fought in the army of Tennessee. However, I would prefer the Confederate Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia as the backdrop for the Stuart lapel pin ... as you well know, Stuart commanded the cavalry arm of the Army of Northern Virginia and fought under the Southern Cross or Cross of Saint Andrew. Karl Brauneis, Lander, Wyoming. Excellent - very clear and bold. +
