The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the world's first jet fighter to see combat. This design features a Me 262 of JG7 zooming low over a pair of King Tiger tanks. This trio of hunters are on the prowl. They represent the zenith of aircraft and tank design and were very deadly adversaries for the Allies. However, they also represent the German situation at the end of the war of too little, too late.
