A play on Je suis Charlie ("I am Charlie"), the universal expression of solidarity with the French cartoonists (of the magazine Charlie Hebdo) murdered by Islamic terrorists in January 2015. Charles Martel was the French king (technically prince) who turned back the Islamic invasion of Europe at the Battle of Tours in AD 732 (hence his surname, Martel--"the Hammer"!). United we stand! The artwork is lovely and compelling. I have used this card to encourage an ill friend and to offer a short note of sympathy to another. There was an odd white space at the bottom. Otherwise, quite beautiful.
