Jerome Ghost Magnet
Rectangular 4” x 6” flex-style magnet with an image of a weathered door discovered in Jerome, Arizona and one of Jerome’s famous lingering ghosts. Once a thriving mining town, Jerome was established on the side of Cleopatra Hill in 1883 and was incorporated as a town in 1899. Jerome became a notorious "wild west" town, a hotbed of prostitution, gambling, and vice. In February 1903, the New York Sun proclaimed Jerome to be "the wickedest town in the West.” Proclaimed a ghost town in the late 1950s, Jerome is today a tourist destination, with many abandoned and refurbished buildings from its boom town days. The 4X6 flexible, photo magnets are very sturdy and high quality. I especially like the rounded edges. Unfortunately, the cuts of the edges are a bit rough and jagged, which you can see in the photo, below. The edges can be trimmed with very sharp scissors but you do risk making the edges uneven. The printing on this project was a little bit fuzzy, the cause of which may be something on my end. I intend to contact customer service to see if there's anything I might do to improve the crispness of the image or if the issue lies with the printing, itself. Also, the product is just a bit darker than the original. Again, I intend to troubleshoot this, with customer service, to be sure where the issue lies.
