Colorized photo from 1899 Original Title: Reporters of the News Tribune (Detroit tribune) Location: 4864 Woodward Avenue, Detroit MI These are reporters for the New Tribune (Detroit tribune), which later combined into other news papers. As you can see its a simple office, fairly quiet and well lit. Dress code is formal, but it was formal everywhere in those days. People smoked pipes, and owned a lot of wood products. When needed there was a lot of light, and a nice view of the city. Where as the boss has his own office and has a nice view of a brick wall.
