Incorporated into this design is Carnation Lily, Lily Rose, an oil on canvas painting that was painted in 1885 by John Singer Sargent. John Singer Sargent (1856 – 1925) was an American artist born in Florence, Grand Duchy of Tuscany during a stop-over by his American parents. Sargent received his training in Paris and was deemed the leading portrait painter of his generation. He painted about 900 oil paintings and more than 2,000 watercolors, as well as numerous sketches and charcoal drawings during his career.

This pouf is much better than I expected and I couldn't be happier with it. I purchased it for my grandkids' guest room and they love it. The older boys use it for seating and the little toddler granddaughter uses it as a soft table to play on. We had a birthday party yesterday and I put it in the living room as extra seating. It holds up well with adults sitting on it and added some interest to our decor. Love it! The printing is just as shown online. Sharp and not washed out.
