Kaleidoscope Green/Yellow/Orange/Black Apple Watch Band
I decorate what is know as Paste Papers. This Apple Watch Band is a compilation of my patterns. I mix methyl cellulose with acrylic paints and paint onto paper and run a comb or tools through the mixture to create a design. I discovered the art of making paste papers when I studied bookbinding and worked in the conservation labs of University Libraries. Over 60 of my paste papers are in the Paper Legacy Project Collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.

Loved that I received this band so quickly in the mail. I was hoping to find a higher quality band. Unfortunately, this band is cheaply made for spending almost $50 on it. The faux leather is thin and feels flimsy. The band on the watch band is glued together, and you can see the seam where it was glued real well. I have bought bands on other custom make sites for the same price, for a lot nicer quality. The quality is lacking in these. Besides the cheap thin faux leather, the metal pieces are nice and fit the watch well. The print, printed a lot more saturated and lighter than original file I uploaded. Still turned out nice though.
