Kapok tree and fairy girl Postcard
This was taken at the Islands of Saint Tome & Principe. The Kapok tree is an emergent tree of the tropical rainforests, and is often described as majestic. It can grow to a height of 150 feet or more, towering over other trees in the rainforest. The girl is on her natural size. I only add the butterfly wings because she looked so small that made me think of a tiny fairy of the forest.
