If you are, you can be proud of the ancient name you bear, first taken by John fitzWilliam, a Norman knight of Italian descent and a brother to the fitzGeralds, as they fought and conquered the native Irish, beginning in the year 1169. The name Keating, derived from Céitinn, means sword or shower of fire, from most accounts, and was taken by John to differentiate him from his older brothers. The Irish began calling him this name from the way he attacked them, probably by surrounding settlements and firing flaming arrows at the thatched roofs

The design is gorgeous and I love the ability to customize the colors of the mug. I chose the two-tone mug with maroon to complement the design of the flowers and love how it turned out. I only wish I had made the handle colored too (the "combo" mug). Perfect gift for any occasion! The colors of the mug were gorgeous and the print was a decent quality. There was a little speck of gold that didn't print in big block letter of the name but I don't mind. I bought the item on sale (<$10) and for the price I paid I thought the quality was reasonable.
