Kenjutsu T-Shirt

Kenjutsu (the way of the sword) is the general classification for the many training methods and "schools of thought" for Japanese swordsmanship. The development of the classic Samurai sword design opened a new field of technique to exploit it's advantages and the Samurai drove the need for endless refinement and proper use. I designed this shirt to look like Japanese calligraphy at first glance. I also wanted to add the look of anime (modern Japanese animation) where even the "bad-ass" characters are cute.
