Kitchen Towel - Weathered Barn Wood

It just can't happen overnight. Decades of exposure to the elements is the only thing that gives wood this amazing patina -- this wonderful, grayed, aged look. We've spoken, for years, about tearing down that old barn, amazed every time it still stands through a particularly intense storm or high winds. It still stands. Those worn and weathered boards still provide shelter . . . only now, instead of a couple of horses or cows, it's a small colony of feral cats we've been trapping, one-by-one, and getting spayed or neutered. This delightful design pays homage to those dilapidated old sheds and barns and houses that can be found all over this country. They sit, patiently waiting, for someone with the time and resources to reclaim and refinish their wood so they can be part of a new generation, a new family.
