[Kujofuji] Fuji-mon (wisteria pattern) / Kujofuji (wisteria pattern) is Kujo family usage crest. The Kujo Family was a court noble and had the family lineage of being appointed to Sessho Kanpaku (Regent and Chief Adviser to the Emperor). After the beginning of Kamakura, the Kujo family, along with Konoe, Nijo, Ichijo, and Takatsukasa, were one of the five sekke . The head of the Gosekke was the Konoe family, and the Takatsukasa family branched out from the Konoe family. The Nijo family and the Ichijo family branched from the Kujo family.
