Kylemore Abbey İreland The story of Kylemore – both Castle and Abbey – is a truly remarkable one. Kylemore is located in Connemara, in the west of Ireland and its greatest attraction is its location. Nestled at the base of Druchruach Mountain (1,736ft) on the northern shore of Lough Pollacappul, the heart of the Connemara Mountains, it is regarded as one of Ireland’s most romantic buildings. Originally built in 1867 as a romantic gift, Kylemore Abbey and the surrounding mountains and lakes are steeped in history including engineering initiatives, model farms, tragedy, royal visits, gambling debts, a hideaway during Ireland’s troubled history as well as excellence in education. Today Kylemore Abbey and the estate are open to visitors all year and the main areas to be visited are; the Abbey, the Gothic Church, the Victorian Walled Gardens, the Craft Shop, Pottery studio, Restaurant and Tea Rooms as well as the Lake and Woodland walks.

Ordered this as a surprise for my nephew’s first birthday. It came out beautiful! So many joyful tears were she’d when it was unwrapped. Why then did I give this 4 stars? I made three attempts to order this through the app on my iPhone. First time, got all the pics loaded, clicked to resize it and lost everything. I tried again, this time, when I clicked on the “add to cart” button, the button froze and I couldn’t buy it. I nearly gave up. Three days later, I tried one more time and it went through that time. On a positive note, the collage came in record time, arriving the day before the party, though it was scheduled to arrive afterward. Overall, excellent product. High quality, well worth the $$$. Gorgeous!!! Paper quality is superb! Colors are vibrant! Everything is aligned beautifully. Only flaw, the picture had a 2 in scratch directly through the main photo. It’s an obvious scratch, one I was initially very bothered by. The sender had to have seen it and yet, still mailed it as it. I would have asked for a new one had I not needed to gift it the very next day. Otherwise, it’s stunning. I would definitely purchase again.
