This is a line Lead Belly uses toward the end of his song "Scottsboro Boys" recorded in 1938. There’s a lot of ugly history behind the line, which is worth looking into. We just wanted to help call attention to what “woke” means. Which is to be aware of and alert to racial prejudice, profiling, and discrimination.

Good quality dark Heather gray, Gildan brand shirt. -it was next up from basic choice and cost about $20 per shirt. Not too thick or thin. Washed and dried well, no major shrinkage. Not see-through. Can wear a bra under it fine. Screen print is just as shown and well done, front and back.
