In the center of the visitor center is this beautiful statue of Lewis & Clark. The original Fort Clatsop was where Lewis & Clark made camp during the winter of 1805-1806 near the mouth of the Columbia River. This was their last encampment before returning East from their exploration. The replica fort shows how the Corps of Discovery lived during their time here. The visitor center shows an interpretive center full of history of the Lewis & Clark Trail. Photo taken October 2017.

From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
