Lover's Rock Metal Print

In the Apostle Islands, there's one island that holds a Lover's Rock worth exploring. As the story goes, a young city man filled with adventure fell in love and bought his bride an island for their wedding. Traveling to see her large engagement gift for the first time; however, she took one look and dragged him straight home, fearing the isolation and hard winters this place would offer them. After they left, never to return from the city again, the locals carry an enduring rumor that brings chuckles to this day; "She got the island, and he got the rock".
