The True Story Behind the Art One day, after my shift at a fast food restaurant, my manager spotted an elderly woman wandering in the drive-through and dashed out the door. The lady seemed lost, not completely there, so as my manager gently helped her inside, I offered to sit with her. As we walked to the middle of the dining room, an elderly man who was sitting, waiting for his carryout, suddenly exclaimed, "Oh! That's my wife!" She must have been in the car and had come looking for him. The old lady went up to him and lovingly adjusted his hat, unintentionally pulling it over his eyes.
