Our macho macho man was Monsieur Huberty of the Academie National de Musique et de Danse. The image was found in a 1927 playbill in my collection, from the troupe's performance of 'Faust.' Neato, huh? Note that my shop has other wallets bearing the image of the macho macho man, with him in a muddy gray shade, him in blue, him in red, him in green, him in sepia, and him in purple, as you can see here.
