The famous Scottish weather is on display in this wonderful photograph of Scotland's Castle Varrich, once home of the chief of Clan MacKay. The castle remains are dwarfed by the magnificent scenery in shades of blue and green and brooding clouds. The MacKay family called this area of Sutherland and Caithness counties home for many generations. It is thought they may have lived in the caves beneath the castle in turbulent times.
