Madonna and Child - Catholic Tote Bag

This gorgeous “Madonna and Child” fascinates us. It was done around 1918 by London artist and illustrator Jeanne Labrousse. Art Nouveau in style, it was first published as a one page color supplement in the February 13, 1918 issue of a magazine called The Studio, which was dedicated to Art Nouveau. Labrousse was better known in her day as a pen and ink illustrator for British books and magazines. Her work is exquisite and charming. We have spent a lot of time looking at this picture and enjoying it.

The minute I spotted this item I knew I HAD to order these for my daughter's wedding for the Hotel Goodie Bags since the wedding was held at a vineyard. The quality is great and they were a little bigger than I expected but worked out and will be useful to the recipients to tote their books, papers, lunch etc for future use. The picture shows what we put inside to welcome our hotel guests. I was very satisfied with the printing on the tote and I liked I was able to choose the font and size for the bag.
