“Madonna of the Magnificat" Coffee Mug

This product is decorated with the image of the Italian Renaissance master Sandro Botticelli's (1444-1510) “Madonna of the Magnificat" (Italian: Madonna del Magnificat) painted in 1481. It is housed in the Uffizi, Florence. The Virgin Mary is being crowned by two angels. The baby Child Jesus is holding the pomegranate, symbol of the Resurrection. It is believed that the painting actually portrays the family of Piero de' Medici, lord of Florence from 1464.
