Durand Eastman Beach in Autumn is a time of colorful contrasts. With the pink sky, you'd almost think it was early spring. But the Fall Foliage declares the truth. The forests of Irondequoit surround the deep dark glacier-made finger ponds as the ridges rise from Lake Ontario and embrace the plateau.
