Make Your Own 17 Inch Laptop For Mac & PC Skins

I'm a photographer and process my photos on a laptop. This was a great way to personalize my laptop with my photography logo and name. The skin was easy to apply and straighten as necessary. Then once properly positioned, it sticks very well with no bubbles or rough edges. I had a previous one affixed to this same laptop and when it was time to remove it, it removed easily and did not leave any residue behind. It can be difficult to find skins to fit a 17" laptop, and this fits perfectly. Also, though the title of the product says "...for Mac Laptop Skins" my laptop is a Lenovo and it works perfectly. The printing was perfect in color, brightness, and sharpness.

The skin was thick, glossy, strong, and easy to apply and reposition as needed. Ability to stick well, even at the edges, was not impacted by repositioning it. I was also happy with the size. As you can see from the picture, it is smaller (by about 1.5" on either side and .5" top and bottom) than my actual 17" laptop cover, which made it easy to apply. It would have been more difficult to get it positioned correctly if it extended right to or past the edges or if it required trimming. This was a custom skin, using my own photography and text. The reproduction of the photograph was well done, it was positioned straight on the skin, and the colors were clear and bright. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the color has a very slight green tint to it. Not enough to really bother me, but not perfect. If I was ordering it again, I would have made the background color black (the same color as my laptop), but that was my mistake. The blue background is pretty and looks good with the print, but black would have blended in with the laptop, making the print stand out better.

When my skin for my laptop arrived it was packed securely in a very large envelope. I ordered a 17" and it fit perfectly, no trimming needed. The quality of the material is strong and sturdy, not worried about it ripping or tearing. The color of the skin was exactly as pictured and the white printing on the skin really makes it pop. Anyone who sees it wants one, so you can expect more orders to come in. A friend of mine ordered one from a competitor and it doesn't even compare. I could tell she was really disappointed when she saw mine.
