Vintage Victorian Mardi Gras Poster Vintage posters are perfect for a Mardi Gras Celebration! This poster from 1897 is a cover from sheet music, perfect for a great celebration! This image has a vintage yellow background, and six Mardi Gras figures are dancing in the foreground -- a pirate woman with a mask, a short dress, and red and white stockings. Next is a white clown, dressed in a polka-dot frock and a long pointy white hat, with a jester stick in hand (which is a little tiny jester at the end of a stick, used especially for Mardi Gras celebrations). Then, there's the beautiful dancing girl all in pink, and in back of her is another white clown. Next, is the devil, dressed in red and making a dramatic pose.
